• Shelley needs to hear from the teams as who participated in the bottle drive or not
• Bottle drive receipts are as follows Saturday total $1874.31. $229.64 for Friday night Midget house, $63.00 misc.

• Junior "B" goaltender that is assisting association is covered under mutual aid as long as he wear full gear including helmet and neck guard

• Dale at the rink is trying to get the front room that the Sting presently uses for a coaches room
• Sponsor money is slowly coming in. Only two sponsors have paid to date.
• Dave will follow up on outstanding charges from the Summerland Review.

• Midget Rep has asked if Kevin McDowall to come on and help. He will be mutual aided as a manager.
• HCR register system goes to read only February 10, 2007. After this date registrations will go through O.M.H.A.
• Carding deadline is midnight, January 10, 2007.

• Applied for three players to get assistance from the Legion. They are not giving the money because the Legion has given a lump sum of $3000 for S.M.H.A. $3000 has been earmarked for S.M.H.A., $700 is allocated to the players.

- Successful Initiation B & C tournaments in December

- Both teams competed very well

- Some players were moved from Squirts to Initiation B and one player from B to C

- Canadian Treads sponsored the Bantam Rep tournament in Jan

• Information bulletin about bringing goalies from other associations is now available
• Information bulletin reminding that all Jerseys require stop signs
• Pee Wee Rep needs one more team to fill tournament for March 9, 10 ,11, 2007
• March 9, 2007 Charity game details are being finalized by Gregg and Darryl
• Gregg would like to see a spot on the registration form for tracksuit order.
• Until further notice, Gregg has assumed duties of Head coach for the PeeWee Reps as Bernie Pearson has taken a job transfer out of province.

• AGM meeting will be held in Whistler June 20-24 2007. Denise, Rory and Gregg have indicated interest in going.
• Application for Midget Provincials have been awarded to North Okanagan according to the website.
• Kim Serada turned in a credit for the SMHA phone bill (494-5035) for the amount of $11.07

Motion – $700 from the Legion’s $3000 donation be used toward the "Any Child Can Play" program applications and the reminder of $125 owing for registrations will be drawn out of the SMHA benevolent fund leaving these registrations pain in full. (Liz/Al) Carried

Motion – Extend the $295 owing until January 19, 2007 where all monies owed are paid in full, in cash. If monies are not paid after this date (Jan 19, 2007) it will result in a SMHA registration cancellation. (Liz/Brenda) Carried

Some of the remaining $2300 of Legion money will be used towards the awards banquet. Shelley requested that the Lions Club donation of $500 be used to purchase plaques and trophies.

Dave Danyluk is proposing to create a fund for assisting any child that can’t afford to play hockey out of Mike Danyluk’s estate.
