      To purchase remaining Track Suit inventory from Brenda Mraz to be sold by

      the SMHA. (Kim/Crystal)

Head Convenor

-          Senior Banquet went over very well. Expenses submitted to Treasurer.

-           Only issue with banquet was some teams choose more than 1 recipient per category. Will have to look at issue for next season.

Initiation Convenor

-          Junior Banquet went over very well.

-          All of the recipients for the Mike Danyluk received their awards.

-          Website up and running.

-          Publicity waiver to ad on SMHA website.

-          Working on Gaming Revenue reports for each team.

-          Financial Update.

-          OMAHA Fines ($100.00 for Atom Development and $60.00 for Midget Rep)

MOTION

            Have 3 Officials apply and pay online to BC Hockey $504.00 each for the Officiating Clinic.             SMHA will reimburse participant 50% upon completion of Clinic.  (Liz/Brenda)

President

-          Applicants for OMAHA Bursaries

-          Pat Bell to look over SMHA By-Laws for legal advice.

-          Review Constitution and make required amendments.

Old Business

–        Update on Arena Board advertising and pricing. 

–        Pricing for 2 seasons (Customer to pay for cost of sign – SMHA to pay for Lexan).

·        West Boards - $1000.00

·        Corner Boards- $1200.00

·        End Boards- $1350.00

·        East Boards- $1650.00 

·        Possible option for a 3^rd year?

·        Rory to speak with Dale McDonald (Parks & Rec.Depart.) to request a 1 year extension on advertising due to limited interest in board advertising.

–        Bottle Drive – organized event – BC Hockey will sanction. Individual event- BC Hockey will not sanction.

–        Old Jersey’s – 2 Complete sets sold (talk to Bill)

–        Nelson Hurry – Rory to follow up with a letter.

–        Girls Change Room – possible Sting Trailer?

–        SMHA Office – Rory to talk to Mike.

New Business

-          Membership Survey to be distributed at AGM.

-          Bylaws – Change Initiation Coordinator and Head Coach Positions to 2 year “staggered” positions.

-          Review Team expenditures for home tournaments for next season.
