4 year olds

1 small discipline matter – official arrived at game with
no equipment was sent home

Bantam Rep team this year has much improved attitude
toward officials

Having trouble finding senior officials

Referee locker door broken into twice; key now in SMHA
office

Encouraged by junior officials but on-ice sessions didn’t
work due to conflicts

4 first year officials for next season

will be a priority to advertise for senior officials next
year.

Criminal Record Checks: Rory picked up forms from RCMP;

BUSINESS:

Mike Danyluk $500 Bursary 2008/09– will forward criteria
to each team and ask them to submit the name of deserving player that has
not received it in the past.

Game Sheet Submission – Brenda will correspond with Jim Sylvester regarding
this matter

OMAHA Meeting Jan 17/18 in Vernon – no volunteers to attend

Bottle Drive proposal – Bela/Sharry – suggest canceling
regular format of bottle drive and set up drop-off at depot.
A proposal for changes will be put together for next meeting.

Extra photos will be requested from the photographer for
sponsors and coaches

The office computer is not functioning.
Rory will take it to the Source for repairs and purchase a surge
protector under $100.00

Horseplay at the Midget House practice resulted in one
player receiving a broken shoulder
-
Need to arrange class on operation of score clock and
proper preparation of score sheets.

Rory will contact Mike Fetterer to repair the score clock

SMHA Website has been converted to Expression format
which should now be more compatible.

Tournament registration now requests Fair Play Contracts
be signed. Can be done with group
signature format of coaches, parents and players

Out of country teams are asked to pay extra fees for
insurance, wear neck guards as per our regulations and sign fair play codes.
