Registration Fees 2026/27

• U5 (2022) - $125 per session (Sept-Dec & Jan-Mar)
• U7 (2020-2021) - $500
• U9 (2018-2019) - $575
• U11 (2016-2017) - $625
• U13 (2014-2015) - $625
• U15 (2012-2013) - $650
• U18 (2009-2011) -  $650

Please Note: Once rosters have been solidified, team fees will be added to your TeamLinkt registration.

Disclaimer: We are anticipating waitlists for many age groups this season. We encourage families to register early to help secure a spot. Please note that being placed on a waitlist does not necessarily mean your player will not be assigned to a team. Waitlists help us gauge interest and determine if additional teams can be created within each age group.

U11 Female Development 
All players who want to try out for U11 Female Development will register through WKMHA. Select " Female" and then  " U11 Player or U11 Goalie" in the registration process and there you will pay base fees. Tryout fee is at an additional cost. Please register for that seperatly under Tryouts then U11 Female Dev. This team will be a shared team with all South Zone teams ( West Kelowna, Summerland, Penticton and South Ok). The schedule will be balanced between the shared Associations with the main practices shared out of West Kelowna and Penticton. 

U13 Female A
All players who want to tryout for the U13 Female A will register through Penticton Minor Hockey. https://www.pentictonminorhockey.com/registration
Players from WKMHA will have to complete a "Permission to Tryout Form" signed by WKMHA and send to PMHA. Please email executivedirector@westkelownaminorhockey.com . 
Please note in order to hold a spot for WKMHA in the event you are released you must still register with WKMHA. Details in Recreation or T2/T3/T4 sections. 

U13 Tier 1
All players who want to try out for the U13 Tier 1 zone team will sign up with the host Association PMHA. Please watch their website for information: https://www.pentictonminorhockey.com/registration
Any WKMHA player signing up for U13 Tier 1 tryouts must get the "Permission to Tryout Form" signed by WKMHA and send to PMHA. Please email executivedirector@westkelownaminorhockey.com.  Please note you will also need to sign up for U13 Tier 2,3,4 in the event you are released. Details in next section. 

U13 Tier 2,3,4

This is a separate tryout from the Tier 1 zone tryout with a separate try out fee required. To be included in the Upper South Zone U13 Tier 2,3,4 tryouts you must register for these tryouts through WKMHA

1. You must register through WKMHA and select U13 . This will be your Base Fee. This is for WKMHA players only. 
   2. Any player in Upper South Zone ( WK and Summerland ) wanting to try for Tier teams will register for tryouts seperately under Tryouts and then pick the appropriate age. 
   3. WKMHA will be hosting U13 T2 and T3. Summerland Minor Hockey will be hosting U13 T4. 

U15 Tier 2 & 3
To be included in the Upper South Zone U15 Tier 2 & 4 tryouts, you must register for these tryouts through OMAHA. 

1. You must register through WKMHA and select U15 Rep. This will be your Base Recreation Fee as well as the tryout fee. 
2. Any player in Upper South Zone ( WK and Summerland ) wanting to try for Tier teams will register for tryouts seperately under Tryouts and then pick the appropriate age. 

U18 Tier 2 & 3
To be included in the Upper South Zone U18 Tier 2 & 3 tryouts, you must register for these tryouts through OMAHA. 

1. You must register through WKMHA and select U18 Rep. This will be your Base Recreation Fee as well as the tryout fee. 
2. Any player in Upper South Zone ( WK and Summerland ) wanting to try for Tier teams will register for tryouts seperately under Tryouts and then pick the appropriate age. 

U15 Female A, U15 AA, U18 Female A, U18 AA 
All fees will be paid directly to OMAHA.  To register for the tryouts please go to the Zone Registration page on the OMAHA website : https://omahahockey.ca/

Additional Registration Information

1. New Registrants:

• *IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE NEW TO SUMMERLAND MINOR HOCKEY OR A TRANSFER - PLEASE CONTACT TRISH WILSNER BEFORE YOU FOLLOW THE REGISTRATION PROCESS*
  For those who are newly registering with Summerland Minor Hockey (transfer or a first time player), the following information is needed to be able to generate a hockey ID number before you can register via TeamLinkt
  
  
  • Full Name
  • Summerland Address & Year Moved In
  • Proof of Address: Copy of Parent's Drivers License and a Utility Bill or Tax Notice
  • Phone #
  • Date of birth
  • Copy of birth certificate (if not a Canadian citizen the process is different, please email for details)
  • Identify as Indigenous (Yes/No) & Ethnicity. Option of "Perfer not to say" is available

2. Female Players:

• Female players wishing to transfer to a Female Only Team in a neighbouring association. Please fill out a Residential Waiver Form and email it to Trish Wilsner *

3. First Time Player Discount:

• There is a 1^st time player discount of $200. If your child is a first-time player (never registered in hockey anywhere) you can select the 1^st time player discount.

4. Family Discount:

• A family with  3 or more children registered will receive a $200 per child discount,  starting with the 3rd child. This will automatically be applied at checkout. 

5. Late Fees:

• $100 late fee for each age group (if you register after July 31, 2026)

6. Indigenous Status:

• There are two questions pertaining to a registrant's Indigenous Status and Ethnicity. The option to 'prefer not to say' is available; this can be changed once the official registration occurs.
