What is the SJAA?

Established in 2019, the Summerland Jets Alumni Association is a non-profit group consisting of former Summerland Minor Hockey Association players, coaches, and parents.  The association includes anyone who wants to take part in initiatives that benefit graduating and current members of Summerland Minor Hockey.

Through fundraising events such as 3-on-3 Hockey Tournaments, Online Poker Tournaments, and our Golf Tournament, the SJAA has been able to provide the following:

• Multiple $500 Summerland Secondary School Graduation Bursaries (awarded annually since 2020); we have averaged $1,500 per school year in awards given.
• Confidential financial assistance to families for registration fees, team fees, or help with equipment cost for children in Summerland Minor Hockey Association

The SJAA looks forward to continuing our involvement in not only the hockey community of Summerland, but also in providing opportunities for those who aspire above and beyond their minor hockey careers.
